and the only thing that showed up was a slow responding o2 sensor. would that cause the rough idle I've been feeling and missing from 40-50mph??? I dunno about it.

Sounds more like a coil on it's way out, but not on it's way out enough to set a CEL.

That misfire sounds like a coil. Mine did it at those speeds. From what i remember it can toss out faulty errors also.

faulty errors makes sense. well I agree with you guys but I was hoping to get a confirmation but yea I suppose it HAS to be coil related.

You can either replace them all (like I did the second time it happened) or drive it until the thing gives you a CEL telling you which one is bad (like I did the first time it happened).

fix the misfire ASAP (not like tomorrow, but next couple days/ week) or you will be dealing with blown cats like I got from driving with a misfire for too long
