GRRR!!! This makes twice now at the same intersection...

If you guessed an accident, you're right. Thankfully it wasn't my LS or I would be in jail right now. Seriously I would have killed the kid who did this.

Sitting at a light waiting to make a left turn. Out of nowhere this POS Honda Civic comes screaming around the corner trying to make a 90 degree right turn at about 35 mph. It didn't work too well, and when skills realized he wasn't gonna make it he slammed the brakes and locked up the front wheels... yeah that helped.

He plows into the Nissan pickup that is sitting 6 feet in front of me. Pushes that truck back, its bumper hits the bumper on My truck, then pops up and goes through my grille. Still with enough force to push my truck back 6 inches.

The Nissan's tail light shattered against my hood and bent it up some. His bumper pushed my AC condenser and radiator together and shoved them back against the cooling fan on the engine. Which was still running after this was all said and done. So its not too terrible, but it doesn't mean I'm any less pissed.

That sucks! How the hell does a Civic do all that? He must have been going faster than that.

1, it might not always be the best but FWD should have been able to handle a turn at that speed unless he had a hell a lot of over stear.

2, that little pos gave enough force to push one pick up into another and move the second as well???

Wow. I hope things turn out for you and the guy in front of you. I hope to god that the little Vic got totaled at least!

Well, the Police said they estimated the impact at 35 mph. That's about how fast it looked too. I had about half a second to think... there's gonna be a wreck...

Yeah, that's how it was when I got rear-ended back in '92. I was stopped on a 2-lane street (35mph speed limit) waiting for traffic to clear so I could make a left turn when I saw this guy in my rearview mirror. I kept watching him, thinking "He's gonna stop. He's gonna stop. Oh, hell, he's not gonna stop...." BTW, the police estimated that he was doing ~40mph when he hit me. He knocked my car completely off the road, sending it partially airborne into the bar ditch on the right side of the street, despite the fact that my wheels were already turned left. Amazingly, the only damage was a caved-in trunk, a bent seat back, and a bent passenger-side front wheel, and my "injuries" were a strained muscle in my forearm (from gripping the steering wheel) and a slightly stiff neck.
