Tell you what....almost ready to ditch it. Got up early (bad dream) rolled the car in smooth as silk changed drivers leaky air strut. Had a leak on the way up would get past it and hold air but needed changed and its been getting worse. Had a suppose to be good drivers strut on the shelf. boom boom boom went in noooo problem. to easy.

aired it up and leakes between the bag and the plastic grrrrr. then roll the car out and what do I find...... the cap on for the air cyclinder must of come off when I was plugging it back in grrrrrrrrrr freaking did the whole change in less than an hour

It leaks it leaks correct? I am wondering if it got bad sitting on the shelve for 6 months? It is leaking between the rubber and the plastic around the edge 2-3 inches wide. Possible fix? or leaks it leaks get a new one.

The rule has always been that onces the bag leaks, there's no repairing it.
The green slime crowd differs in that opinion.

However, now when you can find spring conversion kits from Monroe for these Lincolns for about the price of one new spring, it's going to be harder to convince people to continue to invest money into these air ride systems.

It's up to you and a matter of personal taste, air ride or non-air ride. Me? well I said goodbye to it back in 05, and I don't regret it a bit. my car rides and handles much better, but I'm not knocking those who like air ride. it just didn't appeal to me.
