Grinding noise near front left tire

After I driving my car for a few minutes I start to hear an intermittent grinding noise near the front left tire when I'm going slow. I'm taking it to the shop tomorrow, but does anyone have an idea of what it might be.

low brake pads, bad bearing/hub?? could be a number of things.

Brakes ok

Had the brakes checked when I got new tires three weeks ago and they said they were good. Just hope its something cheap.

same here and it was the wheel bearing, quoted $300. Will fix it soon.

Does it go away when you turn left?

no it goes away when i turn right. sounds like your is the right bearing and mine is the left.

If it's the bearing, seal, race not a big deal to change it yourself. From the sounds of it you are probably catching it early before any major damage is done.
