I got clocked at 80mph in a 65 zone. Its my first time getting one so what should I expect?........ How much did you speeders have to pay?

Dam dude that blows, i got one late last night at like 1 in the mornin... first time i've been stopped in LS. He said i was doin 85 in a 50 zone which was WAY off i was doin like 65 - 70 and he wrote the ticket up for 10 MPH over 50. so i guess that was cool. that was my first ticket. Cause i have a good driving record if i show up in court i wont have to pay it and they will dissmiss it. So i'm just gonna go. see how your state works i know rhode island has the good driving record thing if you've been driving for atleast 3 years... My ticket is costin me 85 dollars.... its usually 10$ for every mile over the limit.... Good Luck.

First off.... TRAFFIC SCHOOL!!!!! I was written for 85 in a 65 about 4 years ago. IIRC, the ticket was $120. Traffic school was another ~$30. IMHO, not bad for 20 over! Especially since he said he clocked me at over 97!!
Oh yea, this was by Camp Pendleton.
