Just to see what it would look like if I went the Hydraulic route as it was offered to me by a new acquaintance that is running it on his Lincoln.

Friends daily driven full Hydraulic custom Lincoln that he claims rides smooth :shifty:

Interesting thought but I ain't even done a hub swap yet so what are the chances

Hydraulics are cool imo. I'd love to have a car with hydraulics but i wouldn't put it on my mark. I think on a gen 2 it'd be cool but in the end its all up to you and if your going to enjoy it or not

Yeah basically, would rather have done it on my 64' Impala but ain't got that anymore. So get bored at work and start playing with the forklift a bit :D

if you go the air route you can rig the factory system to still work when you want it to

in hindsight I should have had two compressors

Wouldn't you be at all concerned about twisting the Unibody?

If the unibody was that flimsy I would have never bought this one after my 96'.

I don't know about that man..I'd be careful, when I was putting on my bumpers I jacked up the front of the car behind both front wheels on the recommended lift spots and went to open the drivers side door to pop the trunk and couldn't even open the door because the body flexed so much..I immediately lowered it back down and found a better location to lift it from..not like it bent anything but these cars aren't as "rigid" as you think.

Lifted both my Marks from all sorts of spots and never had an issue with doors no longer opening. Last time I did the UCA's and LCA's I had it really jacked to the extreme so to speak and both doors opened normally.

If this car showed any signs of weakness like that it would be trade in bait immediately :shifty:
