Hello everyone,

I have an 95 Lincoln Mark VIII LSC. We have been having pretty hot weather here in the Seattle area so I decided to recharge my airconditioning for some heat relif and I used about 3 cans of R134a. Everything was fine until I smelled antifreeze and then the air coming out of the panel vents look like frost it like you can in the winter when you blow into the cold air and see your breath. Well like a bad disney movie I saw steam coming out of the defrost vents and the windsheld started foggy up in the middle of the windshield. So, I felt under the passenger side floor and I didn't feel or find any antifreeze, then I but my finger in the floor duct and sure enough antifreeze. So I checked the hoses up by the firewall and no leaks, check the weep hole and it is dripping condensation not antifreeze. Drop the glove box and look to the left and right by the side of the black box where the 4 bolts on the bottom left corner I saw antifreeze leaking from the box. Is that were the heater core is located?

So, can anyone tell me if this is a heater core problem? Why do I have heat and not any a/c (warm air instead of cool). I am not having any overheating problems. Any information here on how to remove and install a heater core in a 95 Lincoln Mark VIII LSC? Please let me know your thoughts.

Thank you
