GM rims on LS

I'm sure this has been discussed before and is no doubt sacrilege, but has anyone ever bolted on GM bolt pattern rims? I'm just curious, seems the bolt pattern is the same.

we have a 4.25 dia bolt pattern. I believe they are mostly 4.50 (at least any wheel that would be worth putting on).

I looked at doing some nice GM wheels, but the pattern is 5x.475 and i would have to have my hubs machined
