hey guys im new to the site i have a 2002 ls black with the paenut butter int will post pics soon only add on as of yet is a jvc double din with detach face but i found it on craigslist for 7999 it has 75,000 and is super clean all i needed was a egr pressure sensor and i thought a driver side control arm but after futher examination i found that the bottom mount to my coil spring is broken the white plastic i went to the dealer and they said its actually made into the spring so i ordered it and im hoping that will put a end to my front end clanking noise because i took it to a shop and they said all other parts are tight and in tact i have never driven a ford im a general motors man this is my 11th car so im hoping our relationship goes well if anyone would like to give me insight of this car please do i live in chicago and would love to be friends with others so we can share car problems and solutions:cool:
 
Welcome to LvC, sounds like a decent car. I would have checked other places before buying the spring from the dealer, but atleast that one will be good.

I lost all hope when I saw this "paenut butter int" its a double meaning for me, anyone else?

Looks like your headlight has a leak. Take it off the car, use a hair dryer to dry it out, then put a bead of silicone around the seal between the black housing and clear lens. :D
 
If you're coils haven't been changed prepare too also do spark plugs and valve cover gaskets. Then order some sway bar bushings cause those will be going bad, (you'll start to hear a clunk whenever you go over a bump). Those are the really common issues. I'm at 92k and I'm leaking steering fluid. I guess it time for something cause I've had 2 trouble free years. Oh yeah welcome.
