Gen II airbag on Gen I

Just FYI. The Airbag for a Gen II with the "prettier" Lincoln emblem works on a Gen I. I forget who told me that it would not.

The only "mod" needed is to break a small plastic ridge on the upper inside of the airbag plug on the bag itself. Then the Gen 1 harness slides right in a clips in place.

Maybe someone has done this before?

looks nice and ive seen 97's still with the embossed logo, dunno if it was a late 97+ split or what
