gen 2 trunk brake light

i think my brake light is either going bad or has a shortage. I want to change it. has anyone did it. how much. do i have to buy the whole light kit??

Most likely the ballast is going bad or you have a short. A Glitch ballast is what you want if this is bad. Do a search, plenty of topics on this.
