Hmmm, I have a friend that lives in that area, maybe I'll see if he can go look at it and talk to the guy. I'm willing to bet he could make a good chunk of change out of parting that car out.

I made $1500 of my 97 I parted, and I kept a bunch of the parts for my CE... good to have spares around.

The headlights look to be in good shape, wonder if the neon is too. I bet he could make an easy $1500 just off parts we can see LOL. I am hoping to contact him through a friend and get that passenger side mirror. That's the only thing that looks horrible on my car.
I called about the car. It was listed a couple weeks ago for $1,200. Seller said he had an offer for $600. I told him to sell it, as it was a deal. The car was abandoned immediately after a traffic accident. The driver fled the accident and I suspect the driver was not a US citizen. Douglas is a border town. Seller said that he just got an abandoned title. No keys and no way of determining the condition of any components - engine, transmission, lights, etc. As ad says mileage unknown. You would have to winch the car unto carrier. Tires are blown. Does anyone know how to look at any of the components without a key?

It doesn't really matter if the engine and trans or anything else is good in particular... you would still make money if you bought it for $600.
