If you have "scratches" (well it looks like scratches, but it is inside the lens, not on either surface) you might as well just polish it the best you can and call it a day unless you can mold some new lenses. One of these days I am gonna try that and see how it works. On a side note, I think I have come up with a way to "repair" the neon on a Gen2 for less than $50. Stay tuned!

ya i know about the glitch ballast. and the 30 dollar kits that they see would have done nothing to this. it needed some rough sanding it was soo weathered. it needs more some work to be totally clear but looking at the finished housing next to the one i am doing this weekend, it was worth it.
