I was thinking with my money from my taxes I was going to buy some gears. So far I have two in mind. 3:73s and 4:10s. I have a list of the positive and the negative but I wanted to hear it from the mouths, or in this case words, of others. One question I still have is what are the RPMs at 60 MPH, 70 MPH, and 80 MPH on either of those gears? Since I'll mostly be going those speeds. Any other input will be appreciated as well.

If your going to do it.
Been running them and love them.
Don't worry about the rpms.
I daily drive 80 miles a day, and drive it hard.

The difference between 3.73's and 4.10's @ 80 MPH is less than 300 RPM's.

I also have 4.10's.

If you have to ask, you probably can't do it yourself. It takes some special tools and experience to setup gears correctly.

The main reason I went with 3:73's was the slightly better highway mileage. It also helped that the car shifted just AFTER the traps at the 1/4 mile, not before, so its still pulls hard all the way down the 1/4 mile and doesn't bog at the end.

Just got back from running some errands. Around town, the 4.10's are a blast. Also noticed my display showed mpg in the mid 18's, when it normally shows 16ish. I am in a city with tons of lights, and not spaced very far.

4.10's minimum. To me, anything less would be a disappointment.
