alright I got fed up and decided I should change that gasket... doesn't sound fun... so... I have a 97's Mark Viii LSC... there's oil leaking into the holes where the coils down to the sparkplugs... what do I need to do to fix it?

I know it's a gasket... but I don't know what the part # is or what it's called...

also is there anything I should know about when I do change it... I have a shop I can use... and a bunch of tools... never have done this before... so I'm crossin my fingers I can pull it off... they quoted me like 500 bucks to do it... I doubt it's that hard... thanks for the help on all this...

I answered this in your other post. You have a common problem. The valve cover tower shaft seals are leaking oil down on too the spark plugs and boots. If you go to your dealer parts department, or contact Maxx on this website, you will need to buy the valve cover gasket kit for both sides. It will come with a valve cover gasket and 4 tower shaft seals. This of course is 1 kit for each side.
