I just measured my sway bar and an s-type sway bar, i have been meaning to do this for a while now.

The jaguar stype only uses one size sway bar and it is the Sport sway bar from the LS.

they both measure about 33mm (00-02)

So those of you who want to forgo swapping out the pain in the butt front sway this should be a viable option for you.

I will try out when my bushings start making noise, but im pretty sure they will work just fine.

Bad news, they are expensive, i will report back with a part number and list price.

The other thing is they are still a pain in the butt to change on the V8 LS, but not as bad as trying to do the sway bar.

sorry non-sport LSs this will not work for you because non-sport LS's have smaller sway bars and the stype uses the same size on its 16 wheel option and well as their 17inch wheel model.

List price on the jaguar bushings is 83.40 each

the sport sway bar is around 122.00 for the bar and bushings, but personally i think its worth it to pay more for just the bushings and save the headache.

if anyone wants to be the guinie pig and try them out shoot me an email or pm and I can get a set.

I would do mine but they arent making noise yet lol

I need to do mine (03 v8 sport). how do the busings come off of the bar? I know they bolt to the front crossmember but do they come off in 2 pieces or do you have slide them all the way off the bar?

The way I understand it, you can no longer buy the bushings for the LS. You have to buy the entire sway bar complete with a new style bushing...which means you have to swap out the entire sway bar which is a real pain in the ass. With just the bushings, you don't have to remove the bar.

Just and FYI....the universal sway bar bushings from energy suspension will work and will only set you back about $20.

That's what I figured. Got a P/N from Engergy Suspension by chance? This is going to be a winter project for me ;)
