Fuel pressure question

I changed the fuel filter, and had a question about how much fuel should have squirted out of the Schroeder valve. It was by no means a "money shot".....barely a inch past the end of the stem. Does this seem weak.......filter didn't fix the problem.....car will not pull itself....idles fine, but no power, barely revs up........figuring on putting pump.....any other ideas?

You need to check it at rest and then when under power so I would suggest you get a FP gage set up at the schraeder valve and under the hood and taped to the winshield having a second person on board to record the readings when you are under a load demand. The readings should be 35-45 lbs at both conditions.
