Fuel filter

Yesterday i noticed that when i have my car at idle and if i hit the gas a lil bit to hear the growl, i use fuel very quickly. with my mpg at only 15.6 mpg on the highway with me cruising at 70-75, i must need a new fuel filter. so I just wanted to know the best brand of fuel filter to get or what brands to stay away from for my 97 mark. Am i am going to change my airfilter also.

I'd say go with WIX gold line...stay away from fram please...and that japan stuff...nothing but garbage...#1 on complete tune up wires are expensive but it's worth it with gas prices

My 9mm ford racing wires from max + autolite 764s yielded me 3 mpg average

ok so i will do a complete tuneup, where can i get the cop wires from then and how much are they? and what plugs (p/n# and $)? i wish someone had a tuneup package already together..lol well is the bosch oxygen sensors ok or is there a specific brand or part number anyone recomends?
