I need to replace my front sway bar bushing, and had a few questions about doing it. Is it best to have the wheels off the ground, or to have weight on the car? Disconnect the end links? Is there a "step by step" out there?

It's a PITA.... I'd lift up the front end and take the wheels off and then start wrestling them out...

After you get the wheels off, you have to unbolt the fasteners that hold the swaybar down. That's most likely the part you'll have difficulty with, (unless you want to drop the subframe). When it's time to slide the new ones on, use some dielectric grease to lubricate them so you can position them without a lot of friction interfering with your work.

The bolts to the brackets holding the bushings in, can be easily removed from under the hood, using long extensions and a swivel.:)
