I want to replace the monroe crap o matics that came stock on the lowered kit with sensa tracs. RA has a closeout sale on them @ less then 28 bucks each vs 55+ everywhere else. My question is there anything else I should replace? Any type of bushing/rubber parts on the strut assembly?

Also, any easy way to swap out the strut portion?

Are you talking about the shocks or strut rods? If you're talking about shocks, are you coil-over or air shocks? If coil-over, from what I remember, I don't think the shock cartridge can be replaced. I had a '93 T-bird with the coil-overs and if I remember correctly, the shock can't be removed from the housing without some cutting. I may be wrong though. Just get a good shock that you're comfortable with and use your coil springs. You should be able to get a good performance shock for the T-Bird. And wile you're under there, if you haven't done it yet, replace your strut rod bushings. It'll probably make a big difference.

**Edit**Sorry, just noticed the "Converted" in the topic line. So you'll need T-Bird/Cougar front shocks.

Yeah, I'm just not sure if anything else would need to be replaced on the strut assembly when I switch everything over .

srb's have been replaced.

So all I have to do is swap the coil and top mounting plate? Nothing else?
