I need to replace my passenger front hub, I have been putting it off, but it is time to do it. I see this is a common problem and I am wondering if anyone has any info on a hub that actually lasts. I try to go with Ford parts, but it is a ford part that seems to go bad pretty easily. I know the ford part through Max is cheaper, but I don't want to have to change it again. I hate autozone, but there part is actually listed as a Timken bearing and wondered if anyone has any experience with it.

Thanks

Ryan

I got a National Brand at O'reillys. I was very impressed with it. They even went as far as putting anti-seize where the rotor sits and new clips for the wire harness.

I worked at a parts store for years that sold National/BCA bearings and hub assemblies and hardly ever have one come back.

no problems with my timken yet, but not too many miles on it either. they also gave antisieze etc. the problem is, its ball bearings which makes point contact and concentrates the load. Not sure why its not a more traditional needle bearing. Pretty sure the Timken is the same thing.
