Hi,
The front driver side Left, strut coil broke, for 98 Lincoln Continental.
Is the coil the same?, whether it is standard suspension ($533 at Team Ford, AZ or local NJ Dealership ) or automatic ride leveling ($690)? I'm not sure how to tell them apart to order a replacement strut .
It has rear suspension bags. The front coil snapped yesterday. Now the car tail seems high & driver front is lower than passenger, and the compressor (which was audible) for rear air bag suspension is not pumping.
Online salvage yards want $35 to $100 depending ...
Id like to order the strut correctly. The coil only, does not seem to be sold separately.
