I have 00 LS v8 w/ sport suspension, and it decided to have problems all at once.

First a couple weeks back after it warmed up (melting the snow) and then froze my rear and developed this loud squeaking and creaking. It squeaks pushing straight up and down and creaks more going around turns. I sprayed a lubricant in every bushing and suspension joint I could find, my sway bar links look worn but everything else looks in tip top shape. Does anyone have any experience with something like this?

Also my front end was getting sloppy, so I had both lower ball joints replaced, outer tie rod ends and one inner tie rod end replaced. Ever since then when I drive in a straight line for a while my steering develops this creaking and moaning when I turn the wheel in addition to the front end squeaking. If I rock the steering back and forth a few times it will go away until I let it sit or drive a while without turning the steering.

Also since then my front end is very unpredictable, going around corners sometimes feels like I am slipping on ice the car isn't predictable in its steering, I hit a bump and my steering jumps wildly. I have brought it back to the shop twice, they can't find anything wrong. Any ideas?

Are there bushings that hold the power steering rack in place on this car? I'll be by mine tomorrow to look at to see if those being worn out could cause play.

I am not sure but I think part of my front end might be my uppers. I am assuming I need the whole control arm.

As far as the rear end goes there are so many bushings I don't even know where to start. I guess maybe the sway bars.

You are right, that you have to replace the entire control arm, the bushings aren't available. jmtiseo confirmed that S-type bushings are too big. Several others have suggested companies to try for poly bushings, but no one's confirmed that there are any available.

I plan at looking at the bushing issue through White Line after I get the coilovers finished. I have 2 car builds going at the same time, need to concentrate on finishing 1 task at a time.

Thanks for the s/o, I still have the lower control arms collecting dust if anyone is looking for a dummy parts to test bushing configurations on. Assuming you don't break them pressing these suckers out.

The first person to get a good bushing option confirmed will be a hero, to the tune of several hundred dollars saving per LS!
