For you guys(and girls
)up north that will be seeing lower temps I have a little tip that you all probably know but I thought I should post just in case. We already are getting some snow here in N. Ill so that means doors freezing shut and handles getting pulled too hard and maybe breaking a lot sooner than we'd prefer. I've made a habit of 'winterizing' my doors weather stripping to avoid them freezing and sticking. All it takes is a little fresh wax on the areas the weatherstriping touches the inside of the door and a heavy coat of armourall(some people prefer vasaline, too messy for me)or even silicon spray on the weatherstriping. Use a rag so you don't get any 'lube' on your paint. Done correctly you shouldn't have any problems with freezing doors this winter. Its good for sunroofs too. I had a Trans Am GTA that I pulled the handle clean off one winter because it froze shut. No more of that crap.
Hope this may prevent a headache or two for a few of you. PS Don't forget your antenna too gen 1 people.
