Found oil in my spark plug wells. (2002 lincoln ls) there was oil all over the coil packs. Can't they be cleaned or do I have to buy new ones? Or should I just change plugs and coils... just tryin to save a lil money.....I have a lot of money put in this damn car. So if anyone has any tips on how to clean the coils let me know....thanks!

your rich, Buy new damn coils :(

well hers the thing, of course you can just clean up the coils and throw them back in.

who knows if the coils are still good or not? the only way to know if they are still good is to have them tested.

three things we do know,
1, you have no idea how to test them yourself
2, your trying to save money
3, having them tested properly is not cheap

while your replacing all of the valve cover gaskets (or more likely having them repalced) and spark plugs, just buy new coils and get it fixed the first time
