It was a cracked coolant reservoir/degas bottle(whatever it is called). Also I wonder if it was causing my ABS/TCS/parking brake warning lights to be on? The leak was running right over the electrical connector for the driver's side wheel speed sensor. I pulled the connector apart and it was wet with anti-freeze. It sure would be nice if this took care of 2 problems. Any help with part numbers would be appreciated. Thanks

Wow, I just bought one of these myself just 3 days ago. Haven't installed it yet.

I got mine from teamfordparts.com. Use the "Body parts" drill down to find it. They call it the reservoir. It is $80.92 and comes with two hoses attached to it. It does not include the cap.

Who's idea was it to put the reservior under the wiper cowl? :shifty:

Where does heat go? Up. The wiper cowl is the highest point in the engine bay, its also the FIRST place to get soaked with cold wiper fluid when you hit the washer. Common sense says dont put a peice of important plastic in a place where it will be exposed to extreme changes in temperature. Its like taking a hot plate out of an oven and putting it on ice. That's another thing on my list of changes to make to the LS. :P

Had the reservoir problem bought a new one and the problem is over... now the i have to take out the radiator to have it flushed sin it still runs hot sometimes

I still get that humming/whiring noise that quiets as the car stops. I cant stop it from happening! When it started thats when I had the container replaced, it stoped for a few weeks came back had it flushed and a few weeks later???? Yup you guessed it its back. I noticed a loss in my power to when this is going on.
