Found a center console,.. about time

I found a center console at place I will not mention as of yet since the ones for my trim code don't last long!:shifty:



Before I grab it I have one question. I know the first gen consoles can be swapped out regardless of year within 2000-2002 but I never saw anything about the specifics on the phone. I have the car phone and of course don't use it since we no longer can but instead of having a car phone this one has a power outlet under the vents in the rear of the console.



Will this one from a 2001 still fit my 2000 with out that outlet but with the phone? Again,.... if the phone can not be used of course that is no issue. In fact I don't care if I can use that power outlet I just don't want any installation issues.

Let me see the link, I'll make sure it fits my....er.. your car. I'm pretty sure it'll still fit.

Just use the top part. The only issue you might have is trying to run power to the outlet if you don't already have that option. I just reused my old piece that houses the rear vents. Once I get some time, I may try to tap into the cig lighter in front, and try to get my hands on the little harness for the plug in the back, so I can upgrade that part too.

Damn, my car is a 2000 and didnt come with a phone, my continental did, took that off real quick LOl.

Thanks KD. Its a hell of a deal as usual from that special place I wont mention and the place is dab smack in the middle of the rout we take when we go to the lake on the weekends so that cuts the price down to even a better deal.

Pektel, thanks for that info. I think I wanna use the whole thing. My cup holders work fine since they have been cut down on the underside but this has the non flipping ones so I may as well update and the power outlet don't concern me at all. Its one less danger for the kids to get into.

Some came with the phone and some didn't. Mine was fully loaded I guess you could say but by the time I picked it up they no longer had the system in service so oh well. I keep a cell phone on me.

So your the one iam bidding aginst on ebay. Good thing you outbid me I found one at a local junkyard for 35.00 and there ia a wing on the car if any one is interested. It's an 02 and as dark charcoal color
