Ford V-6 Engines

What other applications are common to the V-6 in the late model LS's (approx '03+) or is the LS's unique being RWD? Yeah, I have something in mind but don't know this basic relationship between models that share the Ford V-6, so I'm starting with that. Anyone with experience shopping for or swapping engines, especially from other models, I'd appreciate your input. Thanks in advance.
