I'm trying to install LEDs. but I just can not figure out the clipping mechanism! I've been trying to unplug the clip for longer than I want to admit. I'm using both hands(that's what she said) and I still can't unplug the sucker. My fingers are frozen and I'm getting a little desperate. Any helpful tips or am I blind?

Picture because who doesn't like pictures?

Flathead under that clip and the one on the opposite side, gently lift away, or as I tend to do, flip the flathead on its side when its under the clip so that it releases it

Are you trying the pull the bulb out of the base? It doesn't work that way. The black connector pulls out of the bulb base. There are two tabs (one on each side) that you pull back a little.

Yes, a flathead!:slam Thanks Shredicus

The two tabs have been a bit** to keep apart while also pulling off the connector.

IIRC you push where the red arrow shows, on both sides. Then wiggle it out with the other hand. It's been a while since I installed my LED fogs.. wow I guess they have lasted for two years so far.

Well, there's always bad news. Ordered the wrong size bulb. I bought a 9145/H10 because I was referring to this, but I guess the LSE grille fogs are H11 according to this thread.

Anyone know of an adapter or do I have to return the LED's?

I lied, the housings say H8.

Get the correct bulbs....
