no more bucking and hesitation, and when i let off the clutch it dosnt feel like it is going to stall anymore. i now can coast down my road at 20 in 3rd gear, not hacing to donwshift into first 1st ne more.

How long did it take you do do all that and did you run into any unforseen problems. I am planning on doing my coils, plugs, vc gaskets, pvc valve and pvc hose on Sunday and I am interested to hear how your repair went.
Thanks

edit: I saw your other thread and saw that your mechaninc did the work.

It took me 10 hours to do my vc gaskets. 2 of those hours were spent looking for one of the vc cover bolts. I was convinced that I had dropped it into the timing chain cover...I didn't though. Word of advice: As soon as you pull the vc off, put a rag in the hole that goes down to the timing chain cover so that nothing falls down there.

Since I changed the vc gaskets, I have no more hesitation and my fuel economy has gone through the roof. I'm getting well over 300 miles per tank now vs the 270 miles per tank that I was getting before.
