So the air conditioning started acting up last week.
Started blowing hot air if restarted. Turning the air off and then on would make it work again.
Then yesterday the auto locks started coming on even though I have them set to off.
Figured maybe the ECM needed a reboot so I pulled the negative cable for about 10 seconds.

Problems solved.

My M 20 went bad and only the M25 is available.
I got the latest 4th gen model.
It's not as piercingly loud and the second beep is now just a short chirp instead of another annoyingly loud long tone.
I like it better than the M20 and it's already saved me once.

Really does work huh? I've been skeptical.

And yeah your ECU probably did just needed to be reset like you said.... it happens. Usually takes more than 10 seconds for the electrical system to lose a charge though. Next time disconnect it and hit your brakes a few times so your brake lights drain out the charge.
