Wow

didn't know where my gas leak was until I jacked her up today. Knew there was a leak as I was dripping silver dollar sized drops on the driveway and wherever I parked.

Had to fire it up on the jack stands and look underneath. The steel line that runs along the driver's side frame rail, from under his feet to where it turns into plastic just before it it attaches to the chrome fuel rail line at the front of the engine.

Wherever the plastic clamping clips were, it was leaking like a sift. Replaced about 40" of steel line and cut off the plastic to chrome fitting entirely, as I had no way of mating the plastic line to the new steel line.

Only used 4" of high pressure injection hose at the front of the engine, to replace over 12" of plastic hose, as I ran steel further than stock.

Used 6" of the same hose to connect the lines under the drivers feet, just like stock. Double clamped all hose to line connections, zero leaks now.

Took an hour and no money:D as I had the steel line already.

Happy camper, that should help mileage !
