Hi All

This is to formally announce the "changing of the guard" so to speak. The sole owner of five star ford has sold the dealer to Chapman Auto Group which has 20 other dealers. We will be the first ford dealer in the group. Aside from the 725 a month for United Health care going down to 149 for Blue Cross, Ya now we can get health care, this will be a completely different situation for us. It will be some time before the ad space is renewed or rejected on the 3 web site/forums is addressed. They have their own web company as well as their own ad agency. So what I can and cannot do is still a question. While I personally am a member of these forums I'll be here, the ads may come down for a time. My phone numbers will still be the same and we will still carry ford and ford racing, and maybe even be able to get good deals on other franchise parts at a discount. Time will tell.
This week will be tough as we cannot do any more parts ordering and will restart 3/15/2011 as Chapman Ford with all new equipment. And I just got used to the Reynolds stuff we have now, so bare with me on the lookups.
I do not have plans to retire so you are all stuck with me for a while!!
Talk to you soon
Max

See, I knew something was up, I posted on you vendor forum and I've been trying to get a hold of you since thursday.

How's this going to affect our discounts? Or will we not know until the 15th when we can start ordering again?

Well I hope all goes well and we can still order from you. Im glad I ordered from you now instead of in the spring when I was going to.

"nothings gonna change, supposed to be the same"...but time will tell.

Chapman is a big dealer network in Philadelphia, Pa and surrounding area. They must be really reaching out. They have several Ford dealerships here as well.

Dam Froggy...I had not even thought of Bill Heard.... got room at your new carbon fiber facility???

It's a fact of the industry..consolidation. I get my car serviced at this dealership and have had good results. I will continue to go back. I also have purchased a few parts at the counter. They are a "traditional" dealership. Seems very relaxed there.

Let's hope for good things!

Hopefully things work out for you and us, because I love buying parts and dealing with you Max :Beer

Damn! I knew I should not have waited to order those plugs & coils. I still need them Max, and the gaskets. Waited this long, guess I can wait a couple more weeks. Please let us know how to proceed with our orders when the time comes.

Hope things can work out and we can continue to do business with you.

hell we may even get a bigger discount...(hint)...

I hope the new owners are true to their word and it works out well for you.
