So I was driving around today, and when I reved it up to about 4000 rpm it bogged down then wouldn't go above 2000 rpm, and when it shifted it jerked extremely hard. I was certain something major just went wrong... I then parked it. And waited 15 minutes before doing anything, then confined home. It acted the same the entire way and the little wrench light was on, however. Once I got home, I turned it off as soon as I pulled in, and turned it right back on... and it ran perfectly... as if nothing happened... no wrench, revved well.. pulled it right back out being shocked and flew down the highway for a mile and turned around and came back. (I live on the highway :p) seeing as it fixed itsself by a simple restart, I feel like its electrionoc issue, I recently upgraded my stero system, so I feel like I maybe stole some juice from somewhere else seeing as I push 1700 Watts now... that's not very muchx but I just don't know... I'm baffled.. any insight is helpful, I wish to prevent this from happening again, thank you!

It's one or more of your coils. They are generating RFI noise and causing the electronic throttle system to go into ETC failsafe mode (wrench light). It would be really nice if you had included the year and engine of your LS, but since you have the wrench light, clearly it is a gen II V6.
The #3 coil is the one most likely to be causing your problem, but you should replace all of them, particularly since you have to take half the intake manifold off to do it. All spark plugs must be replaced too.

joegr you hit it right on the head. replace all spark plugs and coils and while your add it replace the coolant elbow that goes bad all the time on the v6
