ok heres my dilema. I put the cobra R hood on my mark 8.. the stock hood had a little plug in where the thing for the alarm goes, but this one does not. Atleast thats what i thought the plug in was for. I put the hood on a wile back and had a problem with the alarm going off cuz the car thought the hood was up im guessin. Anyways is there a way around this besides leaving the car unlocked lol? any and all help would be most appreciated. THANKS

I did not have the problem on my car, but you might want to either add something to the bottom of the hood where the switch is so that it actually makes contact and pushes the switch down, or you can make a bracket that moves the switch up to hit the bottom of the hood so that it makes contact.

Hope that helps.
