does anybody know if a 2005 explorer irs housing will bolt in a mark viii.i found a NEW one with 3.55 posi.i know i would have change the cv stubs to 31 spline,but does it have the same mounting pattern

The part looks totally different and the mounting is as well in the parts catalog.

The X diff is quite different from the Mark in terms of the front mounting point. It will not be a boltin at all.

thanks guys, also found out that does not have mounting boss for abs sensors

uhh. the carrier will work. need 31 splines i think though.

carrier only has one mount on front
