Exhaust tip cleaner

Not sure if you guys have ever had a problem of keeping your exhaust tips clean, but I found a product that takes the tar and any surface rust right off with out rubbing. Its hard to fit my hand around the exhaust tip, so i decided to try this product and it worked great. Made them look new. Just wanted to recommend it to anyone who has the same problem and has tried waxing them too. also, it works great on any other metal items, but dont use it on paint... hope this helps someone.

I just use turtle wax chrome polish.

steel wool is good for getting some of that gunk off too.

yeah thats true lol, i forgot about turtle wax, but i use a soft cloth cause my tips are chrome and i didnt want to scratch em....im afraid to use steel wool though, it doesnt scratch?

Back when i used to work on bikes i cleaned up the wheels all the time with it and had no issues.

0000 Steel wool would be just fine. Though if you found a touchless system that works for you, by all means stick to it!
