where did you get it? is it magnaflow? is there anyway you can post a sound clip of it?

www.hottexhaust.com, with chr0mes discount. yes it is the magnaflow system, i will try to get a sound clip. Its kind of hard to really hear it open up unless your driving, due to the rev limiter at 3,000 rpm.

What do you mean? btw Chr0me are you installing tips and if so which ones? I need to get on that my grey part is melting from the heat! ha. I am loving it cant complain, especially the price i got.

I made tip holes the easy way...I bought some lame tips from autozone and stuck them on the exhaust, evenly of course, and drove it so the tips would melt the surrounding part of the tips. I pushed the mleted peices off while they were still a little hot and it left me with a real even curve. I took a razor to slice the plastic off the tips. I did this about 4 times and now have a nice smooth half circle. Anyone like pics?

An exaust is nice, I'm interested in getting one, however I'm not looking for a loud one, I'm looking with a smoth deep tune, something like the 350Z or Mercedes clk sound like, something that you can hear only when hard acceleration.

Magnaflow. Car is in the shop right now, the windows are being fixed, will get on this ASAP. I trimmed mine up a bit so it wouldt vibrate againts the bumper. It's only temporary though, until I get a body kit.

I think the magnaflow set up is very smooth, nothing at all obnoxious, kind of like what you described... its perfect for the attitude of the ls.

Its a 2.25" system.

Dude your car reminds me of a phantom car. I like it!! Just tint the windows and itll be more badass than what it is now!

Where the exaust cross each other, is there a reason why it's not a straight through exaust, that way avoiding the cross???

u mean magnaflows tru-x pipes?

Smooth Transitions
Stamped Y-Pipe and Tru-X Pipe transitions are great for single/dual, dual/dual and balance tube applications. MagnaFlow's stainless steel Tru-X crossover pipe represents a significant leap forward in technology over traditional H-pipes. The more gentle radius allows for better exhaust gas scavenging, noise cancellation and better balance between cylinder banks. The result is a significant increase in power and torque but a reduction in db sound levels... the best of both worlds.

MagnaFlow offers Tru-X crossovers as part of most of our cat-back and crossmember-back dual exhaust systems. They're also sold individually in 2.25", 2.5", and 3" configurations. The center cores are either 2.5" or 3", depending upon the part number you select, so check the application chart carefully. The length of all of our Tru-X crossover sections is 12 inches overall, making it compact enough to work in most applications
