Exhaust Installation Problem

Well I went to do my exhaust today and I ran into a problem. When I went to take off the cat from the passenger side manifold the studs were so rusted that they broke. And my other problem is that I didn't know the driver side cat is attached to the manifold which totally screwed me up for my x pipe installation. Is it possible to cut it off or do I have to leave it? And for the broke studs I will just weld out holes.

03/04 cobra manifolds will solve your problem with the cats or kooks headers, but I will never buy anything from supercoupe performance and he is the only one who sells the headers. You can have someone cut off the cat and weld a pipe in its place and put cats downstream.

redo the studs and gut that cat on the car if you want it empty, have an exhaust shop put the x in, that will be the easiest way.
