Engine Transmission swap

I have a 2000 Lincoln LS and want to know if its possible to bolt up my 4.3 Liter vortec chevy engine to my Lincoln LS's Transmission??? and was wondering also what other engines are compatible with my 2000 Lincoln LS's Transmission???

People have tried to put a few engines in the LS, I doubt it would even fit in the LS's engine bay. Do some searching around.. Welcome to the Forum though.

I know the engine will fit down into the engine bay im just really needing to know if the engine will line up and bolt onto the LS's tranny

they dropped a 5.7 ls1 in a LS but they had to change the transmission , im assuming same applies for yours, doubt that engine would go into the LS though

Probably not that easy. Actually, for sure not that easy. Search, lots of failed attempts. IIRC there's only two sucsessful ones. Most, close to all vital electronics won't work without major modifications.

Simple...... None. Maybe the 2000 V8 S-Type......

As well as the gauges; and most of the other electrics didn't work, properly.
