Does anyone know how much it'd cost me to rebuild the 3.9L V8 in my 2000 LINCOLN LS THAT BLEW ITS @#*%ING MOTOR?

Basically, the cost of the kit.

It's got rod knock, so I imagine I need all the rod bearings, possibly wristpins, etc... although I've never rebuilt a motor myself (I've pulled and replaced seven or eight motors/trans's etc. in other cars though). So what all do I need, which parts, etc? And any clue on the price of parts?

Here are some of the links that I looked up;

From what I have read about setting up the timing on DOHC engines, you may want to consider swapping out the engine w/ a direct replacement or getting a long block.

Heh... I just got the garage cleaned up and opened the hood and took a good look at it for the first time in a few months, and remembering all the crap I've gone through with this thing, this bastard is going to a shop.

Unless someone wants to buy it for a built engine/turbo/supercharger project, it's in great shape for that, and I'll sell it for $5500 with all its extras on it.
