Hey everyone, I have a 1990 Town Car, I recently send it to my machinic for him to do the state inspection he did the oil, and he flushed the transmission and all that good stuff, the car passed inspection.
Two weeks later (today) the problem occurs.
I drove it to Six Flags. Everything was fine and dandy. Until I left. First: I started the car at (10pm) to leave the park, waited to back out of my parking space, and it cut off. OK the car was cold, and the ac was blasting, so I turned the ac to the lowest setting, and turned the car back on. Good. It runs good til I stop angin, it cuts off, I didnt have time to think about it so I just started it and kept going toward the exit.
Then: I get on the road, and go to the u-turn to go the other way, I noticed the engine acting weird like shifting alot, so I put it into normal dive (no OD) so yeah. I wait for the light, then hit the gas a little hard, and not my engine wants to drive it self, it will keep a speed and wont slow down, I hit the break, it goes back to some random speed its really weird. I do a complete stop, let go of the break and it will go up to something like 35 without me even hiting the gas! What can this be!!! Please help! It was running flawlessly for 2 weeks and now this!
