GEN 1 LMS MAF,4.10, LMS DIABLO CHIP......ENGINE BOGS AT WOT.WHEN I LET UP IT TAKES OFF LIKE A RAPED APE..REFLOOR IT AND BOOOOOOG...FUEL AND AIR FILTERS ARE NEW...MAF TOO LARGE?? :confused:TOO MUCH AIR OR FUEL PUMP FAILING?? THANKS FOR EDUCATED INFO!!!
 
Did this happen right after installing these parts? I myself would put stock maf back on and see how she runs. I have a C&L big maf and runs fine.

You should have saved some money and ran your stock MAF and had it dyno-tuned. Mail-order tunes SUCK. Ask me how I know. I'll bet this problem surfaced after you put the chip in and it has nothing to do with your fuel pump. :shifty:

Or it could be your tps.. or the calibration tube in that maf.
 
I had this issue. Could be the same, maybe. Drove me nuts. It was bad coil packs. They were only a couple months old, maybe a little more. During some unrelated work, I swapped these coil packs and wires to anther Mark for a long distance haul while the original was down. That Mark had the SAME exact issue! I was not happy spending near a year or more (and many threads here) trying to figure it out.

Worth looking into.
