Engine bogs at wot

GEN 1 LMS MAF,4.10, LMS DIABLO CHIP......ENGINE BOGS AT WOT.WHEN I LET UP IT TAKES OFF LIKE A RAPED APE..REFLOOR IT AND BOOOOOOG...FUEL AND AIR FILTERS ARE NEW...MAF TOO LARGE?? TOO MUCH AIR OR FUEL PUMP FAILING?? THANKS FOR EDUCATED INFO!!!

Did this happen right after installing these parts? I myself would put stock maf back on and see how she runs. I have a C&L big maf and runs fine.

You should have saved some money and ran your stock MAF and had it dyno-tuned. Mail-order tunes SUCK. Ask me how I know. I'll bet this problem surfaced after you put the chip in and it has nothing to do with your fuel pump. :shifty:

Or it could be your tps.. or the calibration tube in that maf.

I had this issue. Could be the same, maybe. Drove me nuts. It was bad coil packs. They were only a couple months old, maybe a little more. During some unrelated work, I swapped these coil packs and wires to anther Mark for a long distance haul while the original was down. That Mark had the SAME exact issue! I was not happy spending near a year or more (and many threads here) trying to figure it out.

Worth looking into.
