Emission System light / CEL

Please help me out if you can. I have a 2001 Lincoln LS V6 automatic.
The car feels as though it is misfiring/studdering especially at idle. It seems to have loss of power due to inability to accelerate as usual and the emission system light/CEL blinks during moderate load and stays solid at idle.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Odds are its a bad coil(s) or perhaps a clogged cat although I would def check coils first.

Go to autozone and get them to check 4 codes. I recently changed all my coils/plugs and the stutter went away
