electrical problems?

So this is my second thread about my 94 mark VIII. i have a couple problems, one and most important is my brights do not work I have not driven at night but from what I hear the headlights are terrible in these cars. So I was wandering what would cause them not to work? should I get it inspected? they are hids not sure watts.


also my fuel door must be opened manually any tips to fix it? last thing seats do not move back or forward but do recline. any help will be much appreciateed thank you

If you have HID's then most likely they are not stock. So who knows the wiring and or quality of the HIDs They may just be dead. When you say inspected do you mean looked at? Because you can't get inspected as in a sticker with no high beams.

High beams should not be HID anyway. They can be, but usually its the low beam that is HID.

Fuel door could be trunk harness. I am not sure why this things affects more systems than seems logical, but there is a harness along the left hinge. When mine went bad I had intermittent brake lights, fuel release and trunk release. Worth looking at either way. Probably have to remove cover to inspect wires.
