when I start my car my windows power seats on the driver side don't work but when its not started or if I accerate fast the windows come down its weird

So both the windows AND the power seats only work when 1) the car is turned on, but not running (aux mode) or when your going really fast.

wow.. I'm stumped.. At first I thought it was just the driver seat w/ the loose connection or a short around one of the clipped connections. But since it's the windows and the seats, their wiring goes to two seperate junction boxes are are independant of each other.

I got wiring diagrams galore, but I can't seem to find any fuse box diagrams.. Might check there first to see if you got a short or blown fuse.

I must laugh to, but what other issues do you have. It has to be a bad short. Im just thinking here.....

No! I heard about it, it kinda did the same to me as the motor busted on the window. the same for the sunroof as that broke.

Honestly that sounds like a weird enough electrical problem to be a flood vehicle.

As the electrical connections corrode over time, the resistance builds up. That would explain going fast (high revs) allowing it to work. Added power to bridge the resistance.....although that wouldn't explain the "when it's not started" part.

Flood cars, (if it's possible that's what it is) are almost always full of electrical oddities that only get worse with time.

A Ex Lincoln tech. tell me that some LS's are prone to electrical and grounding issues. Thats why some people like me have problems getting batteries to last without to much corrosion on the terminals.
