Electric rear sun shade? Gay or ok?

I rode in a Benz today and was playing with all the gadgetry in the car. I noticed a small button on the dash? It has a weird picture on it?

I pushed the button and a rear sun shade came out of the rear package tray and covered the rear window! You could see out, but the sun could not shine in.

I found a couple on the internet that would bolt to the back package tray on my LS.

Is this a "gay" option or would it be practical?

my buddy got the new desiel one and I love that car its loaded I would love to have one of those It just take the need to have extra dark tint......

Most of your higher level Benz, Bmw have these as well as side window shades. I would love them being in Florida. I definately say not gay and just a higher level of luxury.

I agree with Fla02LS, the rear shade is really nice, but as the other guy said (lexmarkz00) it would probably look good if it was OE. And if you want less sun, just tint the windows if you haven't done it already.

I installed a digital repeater with a buttom in the dash and a 132dB blaster paging horn that plays back the sound of an M16 when you push the button.

It's great to pull up next to a cop at a light and blast him with an M16! But you can load whatever sounds you would like into the playback repeater.

i run by that site about once a week and check all the videos out There are some cool stuff on there if you get some time to look at them ....
