i painted it black with high gloss paint, i think it came out pretty good.
if it starts to flake, i am going to have my buddy powder coat it for me. next up, rear deck spoiler and mach 1 chin spoiler

if it is nice out this weekend i am going to claybar, and wax the whole car ill take some more pictures

The first picture you can barely see it... BTW, I think your camera has the wrong date....

it looks real nice. i don't think it'll flake just because it isn't exposed as much as the lower one is. chin spoiler is my next upgrade as well

I've seen mesh before, but not in combination with the stock vanes. Looks good, very creative!

what method are you going to use to secure it in place?

i'm not really sure. i know for a fact that i'm taking off the factory lower valance just because it's dented from a minor run in with a uhaul hitch, . so i'm pretty much going to tackle it as it arrives. i'm so anxious to do it but gotta convince the wife that it's a necessary part for me to drive "safely", lol, or else it's a no-go. what do you plan on fastening it on with?

Dont be offended but it seems cheap. I would rather remove the center if possible on your grill or go for the Mc Laren.

I'm not going to say it looks cheap, it seems its installed fairly well but to me its alittle out of place on a Lincoln. I come from a time when Lincoln was pure american luxury auto. Mesh doenst seem to fit that for me, but if its your game then whatever.

As far as the chin spoiler, i had been planning that install for a long time and finally got around to doing it. My advice for anyone planning on this is to put your car up on some ramps or jacks or whatever so that you can climb underneath and see how everything fits and is bolted together. The front valance isnt just a plastic piece bolted on, its integrated into the structure of the front bumper and adds some intregrity that the chin spoiler isnt going to offer. Again maybe the 00-02 LS is different than the 03-05 LS in regards to the front bumper, but i strongly suggest you take a good look at things and develop a plan before buying one.

The next thing regarding the chin spoiler is that its molded at a different angle than the LS bumper. I was at a light the other day and was checking out a mustang that the spoiler is made for and its got way different angles than the LS. You'll never understand what i mean until you actually have the spoiler in your hand and holding it up to your bumper. As far as attaching it, it comes with 12 ford oem plastic rivet fasteners. That might be enough to hold it on but i added more than that to add strength. The last thing i wanted is to be doing 100 mph down the highway and have that thing get ripped off.
My final bit of advice is to make double sure the chin spoiler you order is a true oem ford part. There are some fake/reproduced ones out there but i would stick to the oem version.

Check out my install.
