Driver's seat memory

Does anyone know how to set the memory settings for the driver's seat? It should be as easy as holding down the set button just like you do on the radio, but I can't get it to work. What am I doing wrong?

you put the seat the way you want then you press the set button on the drivers door then you either press 1,2 or both, you have 3 memory seating options.

I just adjust mine and it automatically recognizes driver one or two, i think it's the key fob. how do you get three memory settings

im talking gen 1 here, idk what you own but on the door near the tweeter you got buttons like this

set
1 2

right? so you set the position you want your seat to be, then you press set, then 1 or 2 or both and now when you press the one you chose the seat will go to that position.
