My driver control panel (ie: fuel, reset, status, clear) bracket has broken and the panel is inside the dash. It appears that the A/C vents must be removed to access the backside to repair the panel. Can someone tell me how to pop out the vent section on the dash so to access the panel?

Thanks

It just pulls straight out. You need some sort of hook like tool to get a grip on it. ProFit International sells the right tool, but you can probably get it almost anywhere.

Same thing happened to me, except mine is hangin but one so I do not play w/ the buttons right now. I tried to pull out the piece myself but it was kind of scary so I stopped. Gonna eventually do it sometime.

If the buttons are already out reach in the hole and pull this straight out. You don't need to buy a tool. I did it and glued the buttons back on.

Mine was like that when I bought it last week. I just glued the buttons back on with super glue.

pop the vent out using ur finger or a handy device (no need 2 go buyin tools). then super glue the buttons back on. did it last weekend.
